Had one op on his miniscus and now needs to wait 2 months before an op on his ACL. Sounds like he's going to be next xmas earliest.

I was very surprised he got up but after a few minutes was off, its a surprise now that the injury was as bad as I feared at the time because he did try to carry on. He is going to lose that extra yard of pace and he will need to use his skill far more when he returns if he can to be the effective hero he was for us.

I did both my ACLs at the same time while skiing in a freak fall.. but after 5 mins of shocking pain was back on my feet and skied the rest of the afternoon. Could not move the second day but skied again from the 3rd day to 5th day without knowing the extent of the injury. ACL is actually not painful but recovery is incredibly long and tricky.

Palace advent calendar just posted the win at Stoke. Bolasie injured himself there celebrating the winner.... it was more or less the last we saw of him properly and the beginning of our slide.....

Miserable Christmas viewing!!!!

Saw him do it whilst going absolutely mental, but didn't think much of it as he then finished the game off, including one sprint for the ball.

Today concludes Pardew's "Year of Shite" - next 42 gmes are only going to feature 6 defeats. Bring it on :lux::lux:

Great decision to sell hime & get Townsend!

switchboard 19-12-2016 03:53 PM

Andros, Andros Townsend warms up and down the wing for me!

ExiledStirling 19-12-2016 04:01 PM

Our current league position is not affected by us having Bolasie or not. We do not have a problem going forward but we do have a massive problem as a defensive unit.

Does anyone think we would be where we are now if Pulis (spit) was in charge?

I reckon with the players we have we would be where WBA are now.

dim 19-12-2016 04:07 PM

Don't agree, look at the defensive side of what Bolasie did and the speed with which he moved us up the pitch, which affected how teams lined up against us.

Thanet Eagle 19-12-2016 04:25 PM

We miss him.

The idea that we have "no problem going forward" is a red herring. It seems pretty obvious that having focused so much on attack, we have neglected the defence. That's evidenced by results this season. Bolasie provided balance and threat.

Andros, that Andros Townsend does sweet FA for me

Golf Boy 19-12-2016 04:38 PM

Zaha wouldn't be here if Pulis was.

kolinkins 19-12-2016 04:45 PM

Zaha is better without Bolasie on the pitch. Was always thus.
