I suspect even if they did, Sussex plod would make it Sunday at noon.

Would like a North West away game on a weekend in August, so I could combine it with a stay in Blackpool. Or Norwich away (Great Yarmouth)

Usually the first thing I look for though are the midweek aways. Nowhere too far midweek please!

There will be an empty weekend too, and not just for being out of the Cup - the winter break makes its first appearance!

Always just want a big 6 side every 3 games so there is a constant flow of "winnable" games. Otherwise, whatever.

Knowing my luck I fully expect the Blades away to be August, before I’m back there for uni.

Southampton away to be midweek in the cold again?

I think we normally get Norwich away on their first premier league game

East-End Eagle 18-05-2019 06:47 PM

The only fixture I never want is Liverpool at home on last day. Imagine if they are in line to win the league...would be scum everywhere.

wedgetail 18-05-2019 06:57 PM

I hope to a few away games next year, hopefully Bournemouth, Norwich and Southampton while it is still warm.

I fully agree. But if it did happen it would be hilarious to piss on their chips.

Like once? You talk like we are grizzled veterans of the top tier

2 times

2004/5 and 2015/16 (both times their first game back)

Nice. I’m making my first trip to London in October and really hoping for a home match.

Maidstoned Eagle 19-05-2019 06:35 AM

Im hoping for whatever game I come back for doesn't get changed for tv, as has happened for the last 3 seasons.

917L 19-05-2019 06:37 AM

Expect one of the promoted sides, hopefully away as I'm on holiday for the first weekend

Preferably not the blades as that's an away game I am looking forward to

stevek 19-05-2019 06:51 AM

We're bound to get a newly promoted team first game - we have in three of the last four seasons. If not it'll be one of Arsenal or Spurs first or second up.
