Just looked it up, you're quite right.

A very pleasing chord.

Also thinking about getting an acoustic, as this is how I tend to play most of the time. I have been looking at the Taylor GS mini series and the Faith Venus/Neptunes online, has anyone used either of these?

Looking to sell my 90s (solid top) Takamine (due to damage to fingers and the Takamine having a slim neck) and invest in a Taylor... a good friend owns a music shop, stocks Faith guitars and I've tried many... have to say that I'm impressed.

On Taylor's though... tried many when I was shopping for my Martin and was similarly impressed but the word from my friend is don't go for the mini series and make sure it's US built.

...

I have demoed a few of these now, from both Faith and Taylor, in different woods. Ended up going for a Taylor GS Mini-e Koa, should be with me tomorrow.

I appreciate your advice, but at my level of playing (very much an amateur sofa strummer) I just can't justify forking out the extra for a US built Taylor. Will put the money saved towards whatever catches my eye next.

Arrived this morning, and it's a bit of a beauty, I particularly like the grain on the ebony fretboard.

I traded in some old gear and picked up a Sire guitar. First time I have played one and was very impressed.

I have a Sire V7 Bass and a V10 Fretless Bass. They are fantastic value.
