Apparently injured and only confirmed he could play after the warm up but had to stop at half time.

Not sure he did too much wrong technically, just not a left back. We had way more space for Brighton there when jimmy took over but Brighton failed to take advantage and went to the other side far more often. Bizzare, even after the goal came down our left they really didn’t take advantage of the gargantuan space we afforded them.

Think in terms of assessing Jairo this was a neutral. Neither good nor bad. Problem for him is he needed good as his chances are limited

I’d rather we play him over Luka, in the form he’s in.
Did a job but you could tell he was struggling with an injury.

They were also poor against Watford and only really come into their own against top teams, where the onus is on defending. They have a grand total of zero goals between them from open play all season so it's about time at least one of them is dropped

As one of his biggest critics I will give him a lot of credit today for that superb block. Brave too which is one of the things I've not seen from him enough in the past.

He's actually a very intelligent player, his decision making with the ball is up there. I feel he just needs a run of games, hopefully this injury crisis will give him that.
