Burnley (a) Saturday 2nd March 3pm

Id have thought that tickets for this match would have gone on sale by now.

Does anyone have any news?

If I was a betting man, I'd say Friday 8th at 10am to away season ticket holders, then Tuesday 12th at 10am for the first (regular) phase of sales.

Just a heads up that when these come out check your travel arrangements as Northern Rail guards are still on strike and have announced three more Saturday dates in February. Nothing yet shown for March and National Rail is still showing a full service and will continue to do so until strike dates are finalised. At present there are no train services to Burnley on strike Saturdays and all passengers are advised to travel to Blackburn via Manchester and then a forty five minute bus journey to Burnley out and back. Not sure at the moment when the next dates posibly including 02/03 may be announced at the moment?

Good news, hopefully all get sorted. Supported the action but my local station is Northern so was a pain for getting to matches.

Big hand must go to Premier Inn for their Burnley hotel. 25 in the new year but now 87 for 02/03. Nothing to do with possible strike action and a footy match going on Premier Inn?

Had clarification that I can get a refund for train tickets if Northern cancel the train, but does anyone know whether I would be able to get my match ticket refunded too?

Don't know, but heard today they had suspended future strikes.

Woosie 07-02-2019 08:36 PM

Yeah they have, just a bit concerned that a deal may fall through as it did previously. Ticket site seems to say they're non refundable except in exceptional circumstances. Think I'll just buy the ticket.

On sale today to away season ticket holders. I got an email at 9:52am saying tickets go on sale at 10am.

Nice of them to give a bit of notice

Burnley away is a top day. For anyone considering it, do it and go to the Bridge Bier Huis. You can thank me later :p

Same. Not a massive fan of the new box office system, will take a little bit of getting used to - and couldn't change the setting from 'collect from box office' (to a postal option) although can easily drop by the Box office tomorrow

At least we can still pick seats though

I'm looking forward to trying that Dutch Bar too so I'll get the train for this. Why do we need such a complex set of ticketing timelines as surely it could go on general sale immediately with the ability to buy as many as you want.

Can't see us selling out this one think some fans would have picked Doncaster over this one
