Having said that, he only seems to have started half the games for Atalanta last season? And he would earn a lot more in the Prem.

Not that difficult to understand... ££££££££

Interestingly he played the vast majority of last season at LWB (scored against Juve in the 3-0 copa Italia quarter final win), even though he is naturally a RB. Atalanta play with Wing Backs and have Hans Hatabouer, a Dutch international in their squad who plays on the right. Castagne would be a very good replacement for AWB and could even play LB if PvA has one of his dodgy runs in the side.

Or maybe we buy him anyway to cover both spots ?

lets go get him now...

We'll probably make a rediculously low offer that is refused and say, well we did try to sign him.

Does he have enough pace?

Benteke isnít currently playing well enough for us with many

Martin kelly has an England cap and is only good enough to be back up

Itís a good indication heís got something. Itís not enough to be sure about though

rossi71987 20-06-2019 07:16 PM

The difference here is that he played and scored for Belgium this month. Benteke hasn't won a cap in 2 years and Kelly on 7 years.

gold76 21-06-2019 09:02 AM

Kelly does, or did, hold the record for the shortest England appearance ever..

A Heeroo like amount of time

Kirby 01-07-2019 11:57 AM

Really like the look of this one. Played for Belgium at all levels and was a regular for Atalanta last season as they finished third in Serie A. Only 23 so a decent age with potential sell-on value.

Napoli supposedly interested now though...

There is an Italian journo with 180k followers saying it's on too. So seems there might be something in it.

Sounds like a potentially very astute signing.
