We wont win an appeal for that red even though it was soft.

Same joke again on Twitter tonight. More goals from open play than Soldado though apparently.

No slagging off on MOTD tonight. They had to stick to the bare minimum facts. 3 clean sheets out of 4 and a comparrison of goals conceded pre and post Holloway. Almost a grudging acceptance that its getting better.

Rushed through our highlights tho yet had more to show on Stokes 0-0

philsick 05-12-2013 12:21 AM

Linekar didn't mention chamakh scored.tosser

milky87 05-12-2013 12:30 AM

Why didn't they show our disallowed goal?

Barbara4003 05-12-2013 12:32 AM

They changed the running order, too. Palace were supposed to be on after Arsenal.

Because they're a bunch of ***** maybe.

Lineker made a snide comment about Bendtner instead.

I did enjoy Shearer's face when Lineker kept mentioning the Newcastle score though :)

I had a few beers so not 100% sure, I would say 65 - 75 mins??????

I would like to see it because if it was offside it is very poor from us

Jedinak was slightly offside

BW_Palace 05-12-2013 04:10 AM

Thought the ball had gone out of play before Jedinak hooked it in.

bubbs11 05-12-2013 06:25 AM

Lineker did actually make me laugh at the end when he said, 'What an evening it's been.....Moyes finally sees Everton win at Old Trafford.'

Dont think so, but he was rightly given offside anyway

Lineker lacks social grace. Thinks cause he was once theEngland striker he can slag off anyone. Hope Chamakh continues to embarrass him.

Billyd 05-12-2013 09:24 AM

Was good to see the West Ham goal on telly. Should def been allowed - good to get some luck our way.

Windsor_Eagle 05-12-2013 09:32 AM

The West Ham goal was an intriguing one. Certainly the tugging of shirts was started by Chamakh on the edge of the box and so they are right to feel aggrieved by the decision. On the other hand at the point that the header is being contested the West Ham player (can't remember who it was) had clearly pulled Chamakh's shirt enough to expose the white top on he had underneath. It is obvious why that looked more exaggerated than it was and I'm sure that is what the assistant ref saw and gave it accordingly.

If the whole incident is looked at start to finish you'd say that it was 6 of one, half a dozen of the other and therefore a valid goal. But at the moment that the assistant ref would have been focussing on the two tussling for the ball, it looked as though Chamakh was being impeded. Now, whether white tops under the shirt are worn purposefully for that reason is for one to speculate.
