I just happened to have a nosey in the ticketing site at 10am (I must be pre-programmed to check on a Friday at 10am!) and it was in there on sale.

I always like to try and visit the National Football Museum beforehand myself whenever I go the Manchester, really enjoy visiting there.

I can't remember ever getting an email about away tickets.

When I click on 'Away Tickets' it says no events found. Is that because I'm not an away season ticket holder?

You have to be both logged in, and also were a 2019/20 away season ticket holder to have access to tickets at the moment.

Thank you - that's very helpful. It does seem a bit strange though that if they know tickets are going on sale to others from Tuesday, why not tell us? (Not the biggest of Box Office issues at the moment though!)

Only 15 tickets sold so far to away season ticket holders across 3 days - presumably because box office has forgotten to email them to notify about them being on sale!

Thanks for letting us know, Dorking. I’m an away season ticket holder but the app tells me nothing about Man City and I certainly didn’t get any communication from the club.

They put the details of the selling phases with the match details on the tickets site. It doesn't seem to have occurred to them that these only become visible when your phase opens up. So at the moment, only away season ticket holders can see the phase details, tomorrow at 10am those in phase 1 will be able to see them etc. They need to put an article on the main site so that everybody can see the phase details in advance but either they're too stupid to realise that people can't see them or they don't care, or maybe both. :(

Yes - and what about putting something on Twitter or sending out emails or texts to let us know? I'm signed up for all of these things but only ever seem to get info on home ticket sales - which I don't need given I am a ST holder.

Is it really necessary to have such a complicated booking schedule for this game when I very much doubt we will get anywhere close to selling out? Why not give people the ability to book at the same time as their mates and get train tickets together?

I agree in principle but if the club don't take the full allocation (which they almost certainly won't) then it's perfectly possible that we will sell out. The last time we went there (with fans allowed) we took a 1,500 allocation and sold out. The time before that we took just the 900 lower tier seats and sold out. So with a reduced allocation the club probably do need to play it safe and sell in phases.

Website is refusing to offer up Man City tickets even though I am in todays category! Away ticket option shown but when clicked it just show a 'not available' statement......great :confused:

A few things to check...

Are you definitely logged in?

Do you definitely have 7000+ points?

Are you clicking on Match Tickets - "Away" (not "Away Travel")?

No, 4000+ points is tomorrow (Thursday) at 10am. They must have changed the dates since Dorking posted the phases at the start of this thread.

Revised phase dates are...

Tue 28th Sep 10am - 7000+ Points

Thu 30th Sep 10am - 4000+ Points

Friday 1st October 10am - ST holders

Monday 4th October 10am - Members

Tuesday 5th October 10am - Two per ST holder/member

Difficult to say without knowing whether they're going to take any more middle tier blocks. There was one very small middle tier block on sale but that has sold out. Whether the other two middle tier blocks will become available is not known and may depend on how quickly the lower tier tickets sell.

They only put one small block on sale, and all the seats in that block is sold out.

They haven't put the 2 bigger blocks in the middle tier on sale yet (ie haven't switched those blocks on)

I would hope CPFC switch on at least one other middle tier block asap, otherwise it will be a bit wierd for c100 Palace fans in one small block up there!

I want middle as found the lower not great for my 7 year old in terms of view had no idea it would go so quick now that familiar waiting game playing chicken with the ticket sales!

It's hard to get any info out of the club at the moment emails aren't replied to anymore and the phone line is busy. All down to the right royal F;ck up they have made of this season home ticketig.

Some people will be holding out for middle tier tickets rather than buying in the front rows of the lower tier, but the club won't commit to the middle tier blocks (or possibly it's the home club that won't release them) until all or most of the lower tier tickets have been sold. Similar to what happened with West Ham tickets.

I'm waiting for the middle tiers. If not I will eventually have to bite the bullet.

My only fear about this is missing out altogether!!

Yep, only 78 left in the lower (and 16 of those are singles) - not enough lower tier seats left to move down those who have already bought in the small block in the middle tier that they have sold already.

So at some point fairly soon at least 1 more middle tier block will go on sale.

All lower tier tickets are now gone. The other middle tier blocks should now be released but wouldn't be surprising if that doesn't happen until Monday as they'll probably have a lot on their plate tomorrow.

Middle tier now on sale.

I doubt they have, they certainly didn't have all the paper tickets for Liverpool until the week of the match. My Liverpool ticket arrived by the way, last Monday. I am hoping my West Ham ticket turns up soon:D

Think it's safe to say now that there will be some left for the two-per-person phase on Tuesday.

Great news, will be keeping an eye on sales just in case though. As I will imagine once this block goes that will be it.

Current allocation is sold out with three and a half weeks to go. Hopefully we get the third tier as well although I think there's another block in the middle we can have.

We definitely won't get any upper tier seats but yes, there is another middle tier block that has not yet gone on sale. Hopefully that one will be made available now that block 213 has sold out but not certain whether we've taken it.

I have just looked on the City website and it says there are 6 seats available in block 214 so it doesn't look like we are getting any more blocks to sell. Just the one ticket left in block 213 on our website.

Block 214 is a split home/away block. The seats in that block that are normally 'away' seats have not been on sale to home fans so we may still get them.

Thinking about it, block 214 probably offers the best view of the whole away section and only has about 170 seats for away fans, so one possibility is that all or most of the seats in that block have already been allocated as comps for players' families etc. We'll just have to wait and see whether any seats in that block are made available.

Block 214 now on sale. Nothing pre-allocated, 187 seats available. As mentioned above, this block probably offers the best view of the whole away section so they've saved the best till last. :)

Shame we didn't go for more as I expect another 1000 or so could have been sold between now and the 30th

It's only the 6th October and the match is on the 30th. It is ridiculously early for such restrictions on the availability of tickets. Once again Palace fans who cannot afford to pay yet or commit to going this early will miss out on seeing the team.

Fantastic that this has sold out given that we might have very little expectation of a positive result here. Last time I went was one of the 5-0 games.

Mine all arrived today. Looking forward to it, which is testament to our approach to games these days.

It hasn't truly sold out as we only took just over half of the available allocation. But yeah, not a bad turnout and we no doubt would have sold a few more if they were available.

Ordered mine on 10th Oct. Not received yet and on the ticket website it says "Not Printed"! Ive emailed the club a few days ago but had no reply

I don't think the "Not Printed" thing means anything - the website shows that for my tickets too. The tickets were supplied by Man City and Palace are not printing them. I ordered on 28th September and they only arrived yesterday so there's a good chance that yours will turn up.

Has anyone used the park and ride car parks at the end of the tram line at Ashton? Does it fill up early?

In the past I've used the East car park at the stadium but I've just discovered that because of Covid they've reduced the available spaces, it has to be booked in advance and it's now sold out.

I can advise and have done this very journey when we last went to see United. It is safe and convenient

Catch the tram at Ashton West.This adjoins a retail park with a Cine world and several restaurants. The tram stop is very near Cine World up some steps. Use the retail park to park your car - and it is free. Cine world post code is OL7 0PG. If the car park is full for some reason there is a Marks and Spencer and Sainsbury’s on the opposite side of the ring road heading to Ashton. A very short walk if you park there

Catch the tram on the near side to Cine World travelling from right to left towards Manchester. I am sure there will be a number of city fans doing the same. You can buy a ticket from a machine at the stop

We have this one on ESPN, and the timing is before the missus arrives.

I just up the power doesn't go off like it did 30 minutes before the Arsenal game. Maybe, I am not thinking this through.

Still it will be interesting to see how the student learns from th master, and how the new look Palace team cope in a game like this.

Whatever happens - that will be Man City, Liverpool and Chelsea AWAY out of the way for this season. Can't argue with that.
