Will Leicester sack Jamie Vardy?
Vardy has been filmed in a casino allegedly calling an Asian man "jap" numerous times.
Leicester set a precedent by sacking 3 youth players filmed making derogatory/racist comments to Asian women. Will they do the same with an England international worth millions? Answers on a postcard... |
na, like you say worth a few quid. Although i would love to see the answer they give when a journalist challenges them
easy to throw away unproven youngsters! |
of course they won't! he'll apologize and that will be that
|
I am very anti racist but is this not getting all a bit 'reds under the bed' ?
Vardy has apologised. Leave it at that. As racism goes it aint even Vauxhall conference. |

It will be a maximum club fine and warning about not doing it again.
Still a big racist problem at that club. |

Reference Donald Trump current Republican campaign where he has been openly racist and sexist and his defence is he is against political correctness, drawing whoops and hollering from the audience. However, maybe I am also jumping to have an opinion, as I have not seen the clip of his saying 'Jap' a few times. |

Would have thought they would have no choice but to sack him if employees have been sacked before for doing the same thing.

Thoroughly unpleasant and frustrating. Earns such good money every week that many families would be love to get every year, and all he has to do is behave with dignity and respect. Clearly an odious and dim young man

Yes, not condoning Vardy but it was slightly more than racism that caused the others to be sacked.

Vardy looks like the type...

Another interesting angle is would calling someone "Jap" be considered anymore racist than if he was shouting out "Aussie" in the same scenario? or if this was a Japanese casino and the guy called out "Brit" - would that be racist? I think that the main concern here for Leicester FC is that they have a high profile player who is in a public place becoming agitated/aggressive whilst gambling. Then again, doesn't football encourage gambling with it's saturation sponsorship of football these days? I also wonder why he was becoming annoyed. Was he losing? did he think that someone was filming it to make it public? did he think someone was cheating and didn't want them near the table? - so many questions. So many interesting aspects to this!! |

Dismissal for the other three was June 16th looking it up and you have three months to appeal. |
Acting like a total scumbag.
