To be fair FC is a decent hardworking player, but nothing special, and as someone mentioned his scoring record is very average, so probably not what we need. Also with Murray and Gayle, its far more important we bring in better quality than FC, as we have moved on by finishing 11th last season, we must step up.
I suggest we don't need to go crazy in the market, quality rather than quantity even though there are many leaving, the addition of Three quality players bought, Two quality season long loans, and the odd decent released players to give our squad strength in depth.
Looking at Hull's investment make you think, if you mean business that is how you progress by backing the manager to bring in better quality, some may say it is reckless spending but if done within your acceptable budget, then no.
