Political suicide. Blair type policies have overburdened the UK infrastructure.

That's exactly my point. It is the UK government's policies and being members of the EU doesn't mean we can't have that too.

It's the British government and the Tories' hostile environment.

Sakho has made it known recently that he wants CL football and that he is 'unsettled' to be at the wrong end of the table. Probably Marseilles or Monaco will come in for him in the summer.

Those two won’t be in the champions league next season. Monaco might not even be in Ligue 1.

He could go to Celtic as he'd be pretty much guaranteed CL football there - won't get the same wages though.

No-one will pay him what we do.

3 months ago. I mean, I have no idea what players will do nor think. But 2 teams were specifically mentioned, 1 of whom could be relegated. Tbh, as a player you'd only go to Monaco for the £. Marseilles though must be pretty attractive. Proper crowd, interesting city. Except not a single player get near his salary here I believe.

I really don’t understand Parish’s point about signing and developing players after Brexit.

It's weird. As mentioned here a few times, but never in a couple of interviews I've heard from SP about this, rules on non-EU players are entirely the FA and UK government decisions. I'd be interested to hear him properly interviewed about it.

Maybe he is just using that to try and back up his personal preferences.
