The Food and Beverage management people at Wembley have been told to cater for Spurs being there until the end of the season... I think there's little chance of this season's game being at the WHL.T

That's a shame.. a midweek game against them in a half full wembley with nothing at stake for either side really does reduce the appeal.

Hmmm, Wembley isn't available on 7 April... small matter of the FA Cup Semi Finals that weekend!

So if both us and Brighton go though in a fortnight and Spurs don't collapse against Dortmund then the possibilities are very few.

12/13 March - too late
16/17 March - both Palace and Brighton playing
19/20 March - International break
23/24 March - International break
26/27 March - England play on 25th
30/31 March - PL fixtures
02/03 April - Possible
06/07 April - FA Cup semis or PL fixtures
09/10 April - Champions League
13/14 April - PL fixtures
16/17 April - Champions League
20/21 April - PL fixtures
23/24 April - Possible
27/28 April - PL fixtures
30/01 May - Champions League
04/05 May - PL fixtures
07/08 May - Champions League
11/12 May - Last day of PL season
15/16 May - Possible
18 May - FA Cup final

So even if the FA/PL allowed the game to go beyond the final day of the season which is highly unlikely neither Palace or Brighton will want that given we hop to be in the final a few days later.

That leaves just the 2 possible dates and the first is only 4 weeks away so needs to be announced soon. Given they won't know if the Brighton game has to be rescheduled until 16 days before that date it is surely a matter of time before it is announced.

Would put the game between Spurs trip to Anfield and either home to Brighton or a weekend off, and our home game against Huddersfield and either FA Cup semi or Newcastle away.

The second test event at the new stadium is 30 March, so if the PL want us to play on 2/3 April can only think it'd be at Wembley as there wouldn't be time to sort tickets out for new ground

They have a real problem if Brighton were to lose to Millwall and they are not able to play at Wembley on 6th or at MK etc etc.

As much as i'd like to tick a new ground off the list they should play all games this season at Wembley so that everyone is on equal ground

Won't be MK.

MK coped for a League Cup game, however the capacity of Stadium MK is just 30,500 and Spurs have 42,000 existing season ticket holders and that's before you look after the corporates, away fans etc.

MK have a home game on 6th April too.

Twickenham is also in use as a Bath v Bristol game is scheduled for 6th April.

Spurs would have to play at Wembley on the Monday night, probably with much of the FA Cup bunting still up!

Spurs should have points docked or palace should be awarded three points for this complete mess

Spurs, THe Fa and premier league need to have a hard look at themselves

This should be Scudamore's legendary 39th game, played in Paris with free travel laid on for all fans courtesy of Eurostar. As if.

Possible rearranged dates for Spurs and Newcastle if postponed depend upon Brighton beating Millwall in 6th round.

Spurs will want to play as many games as possible at White Hart Lane so if Brighton lose they could play the first game in the new ground on 7th April and rearrange our game for 24th April. If we also beat Watford then the the game against Newcastle could be arranged for 2nd April.

If Brighton win then our Spurs game could be played on Wednesday 3rd April and Newcastle on 24th April.
Spurs might however want to have a potential bigger attendance for a midweek game by reversing these dates.

I have corrected the late April date.Next time I will not just trust what I was told.

30th April is a Champions League date so they cannot arrange it for then.

They'd probably prefer to avoid it if possible, but I don't think it's a hard and fast rule any more that domestic games cannot clash with Champions League.

Any idea how many tickets we'd get? Thanks.

For Spurs away? Probably 3,000 regardless of whether it's at Wembley or the new stadium.

Providing that the governing body (FA) gets pre-approval and can justify why the fixture has to be played on that date from UEFA then it is fine.

Premier League had to pay a fine a few seasons ago where they did the logical thing in re-arranging fixtures but, didn't get the dispensation from UEFA to do so.
