Was about to ask the same question.

Couple of options (neither very appealing):

NCP on Eyre Street - 3 minutes walk from the ground but towards the centre of town so might be a nightmare getting away.

Meadowhall station at JCT34 of the M1 and then tram to the city centre. Recommended by a friend who supports Sheff Wed (wrong club, I know) - but seems like quite a faff to get into town from there.

There are a few near the station which are about 10-15 minute walk. Q parking at station and NCP at furnival gate which you can pre book.

Google Sheffield Supertram Park and ride. I believe the Ikea and Meadowhall have got Park and Ride car parks and it is then a tram into Sheffield Station with the 10 minute walk to the ground from there.

What a great read. And what a sound bunch.

Amazing that he is taking his son to his 1st Prem match, which just so happens to be his late Grandad's club.

Only spoilt by a few 'pub chat' opinions on Roy.

United put out a message on their website yesterday that Brammall Lane is a cashless stadium as well if that helps anyone.

Anyone driving up be aware that the Sheffield Parkway will have lane closures on Sunday and Mosborough Parkway will also have roadworks. As these are probably the two main ways in to Sheffield from the south it may be worth leaving an extra half hour for travel.

Plenty of carparks a short distance from the ground, anywhere in the City Centre is only a 10-15 minute walk from the ground. Just remember the closer to town hall side of Sheffield the more expensive. Places like Eyre street (closer to the ground) are cheaper and there's a great little charity car park that's much cheaper on Milton Street). Plenty of people used to park in Waitrose but they've just installed ANPR cameras in the last month so do so at your own risk.

If you're doing the Supertram park and ride it would be much easier from the Halfway station rather than Meadowhall.

Sheff U put message on official website today reminding fans that nobody is allowed to smoke, vap or use electronic cigarettes anywhere in ground. And anyone who needs to leave ground to smoke will not be allowed back in.

Blue tram at 19, 39 & 59 minutes past the hour - about 25 mins to Sheff station.

Another option if you're coming up the M1 is to park at Chesterfield station and take the train from there (3 or 4 trains an hour and 15 minute journey to Sheffield).

If your on the tram from Halfway get off at Granville Road/Sheffield College (the stop before the station) and you'll be 5 minutes closer to the ground.

Thank you, that'll do me. Halfway Station looks the better option if you are coming from the south.

Sheffield Unit forum saying we have returned a large tranch of tickets, we were given 2600 and estimate it will be under 2000 sold. Disappointing but on TV, people still on holiday and 400 mile round trip on a Sunday will put lots of people off.

This can't be right. We're an established Premier League club.
