Bad news guys, there is no way in the world we wouldn't sell a full back for top top cash. Would be gutted to lose him but would understand the strategy. Sell Wilf mind and you have the sort of clever Palace strategising that bought us the excitement of the new FDB era.

Its an no from me.

If he stays and we give him a renewed contract I seen no reason why we couldnt get 65 million for him. He could be as reliable as Virgil Van Dyke is for Liverpool (albeit in less important postion).

In other news he was at school in Bromley today. His attitude really is top notch.

AWB is head and shoulders the best RB I've ever seen here but for a club like us right backs are more replaceable as opposed to a 20 goal season centre forward or dangerous winger like Zaha.
The wage bill won't be balanced by AWB leaving, I suspect he's not one of the big earners currently. We need to nurture this boy and enjoy his special talents as one of our own for another couple of seasons at least.

I think we will lose him just because the agents hold all the power. With the clubs looking at him, it may be a £50 million sale and an agent fee of £5 million. Someone with that management and talent will be used as their cash cow. We will be unable to stop it. And before everyone shouts Wilf, it was a low ball spurs offer and no competition.

I fear itís coming and far too soon. He is just so bloody good and looks so Palace. Day after day someone whispering in his ear... sad game these days

I couldn't agree more but I think we have the hottest young defender in world football on our hands, right now, and that means it is inevitable one of the footballing elites will step in. They all not only have the attitude of only buying the very best players but are all paranoid about a rival getting the best players in. The only way Aaron won't go is if he doesn't want to.

I said two games after his debut that AWB would leave on big money in the summer of 2019 and I still can't see a different result. I hope he does stay because he will be a £100M player for someone and I'd like most of that appreciation in value to go to the club that gave him his start. Make those big boys pay through the nose to buy all their success. Hopefully, a combination of the existing contract and player's loyalty allows that.

I don't know about that - if USM/Will Salthouse is his agency/agent, which some have been suggesting here. Salthouse purportedly has a pretty good relationship with Parish and is Zaha's (and several other Palace players, as stated on the cream of the championship thread) agent. I suspect that if anything Parish would've pushed AWB towards USM as he knows he can deal with them and is fairly cosy with them. This bodes well for us as Salthouse will know he shouldn't overdo any "advertising" or "pushing" of AWB as he will want to maintain a good relationship with the club. We did after all manage to keep hold of Zaha, so Salthouse clearly knows his limits in terms of pushing players.

Downside is that any revised contract could end up being north of 100k per week, which aint great with our current wage bill. Hopefully if Parish is savvy, he'll negotiate something like 70k (+incentives) when the time comes.

Tottenham - Walker Peters?

Not exactly an inspiring list. Personally if we were to sell I'd use the funds to try to get Clyne.
Diogo Dalot at Man U is potentially brilliant more PVA than AWB but if it was £35M + Dalot I'd do that and promptly sell CB for about £15M and use the combined £50M to buy a £30M striker and a £20M AM.

Tbf I left out players I didn't think were realistic to target even if they were prepared to let them go.

I did miss out a couple of youngsters previously mentioned mind.

It's not really a bad offer. TFM would be a long term option to compete for the right back slot and cover for centre back. Then plenty of money to spend on a striker and first choice right back.

I mean I don't want us to sell him but that's a decent deal.
