I think for Forest it is the desire to stay up as I believe there are a few teams that could potentially go down. There is also the race for top 4 as the rewards for the top European competition are massive and this year the race could be open to 6 or more teams especially with Newcastle and Arsenal spending big. With the WC and the expanded subs to 5 rule I think the big teams are stacking their squads.

Everton seemed to have found 40m Euros down the back of the sofa to buy Onana. He may well turn out to be excellent, but that again is big money for a 20 year old with one decent season in France under his belt.

the way forest are going, they could end up with some of last years players not making the 25 man squad. Not saying they have not signed some good players, but trying to get nearly 20 players playing as a team is going to take some time I would say. If they did go back down, be interesting to see if they have budgeted to afford them or whether they would take losses to get rid of them, must be some relegation release clauses I would think
