You don't get a loan player for nothing if he's any good. Add in the salary and financially, it sometimes doesn't make any sense.

I know some people are trying to paper over this but that was a ******* awful transfer window from start to finish. Where is the investment in younger players? Where are our back up full backs to the pretty average ones we have? Where is Wilf's potential replacement?

Something really doesn't feel right behind the scenes. It's difficult to know who to blame as there's so little information coming out, but I just don't see what the plan is other than just short term survival by paying players in their late 20's big wages.

The current strategy is basically the same as Stoke's was and its so frustrating to watch it gradually unfold.

Seems like its time to cash out before they have to build the new stadium they promised and of course if we get relegated there would be no need to build it

Only 3 teams banked a profit in the transfer window Chelsea Liverpool and Palace

I can almost get over everything, except not getting in a RB.
That is unforgivable.

Fully agree. Without a decent defence you risk going down. If Ward picks up a bad injury near the start of the season we are in big trouble if we are relying on Kelly

Until these two yanks get bought out or the club sold it will just continue. As I said on a previous topic, when shareholders want out, all they want is CASH and investment is quite simply stopped. They frankly couldn’t give a flying Fock they just want their cash out.
I like everyone HATE it but it will be all downhill until they are gone
