Wrap around cover from Tuesday 8th October's Metro newspaper

Did anyone notice this? Quite well done, at first I thought it was actually the front page of the Metro, until I looked closer. It was obviously timed to coincide with the Climate Change protests.

I wanted to know who had funded this (presumably quite expensive) ad. The big clue was on pages 3 and 4 of the wrap around. Page 3 said (in caps) "Energy efficiency is the missing piece in the climate change debate " and page 4 concluded "Join the conversation #missingpiece". At the bottom of page 4, there was a web link:

To view the link you have to Register or Login

and a logo which said: "The campaign for a smarter Britain"

It turns out it's a campaign to persuade the public to install smart meters
