Foxes are predators so I'd have thought they'd prefer some dead raw cat to some leftover pizza.

The point being the cats are already dead. Not killed by fox

I'm sure I read the Police had got actual CCTV footage of foxes putting down parts of dismembered cats where they were found?

If there is a serial cat killer they will likely leave even more proof in future that the cats are his/her victims .

I am glad this thread is still going, at least in some part to highlight the seriousness of the whole thing. I don't for one second believe the fox theory.

Embarrassingly our cat who started this thread, it turns out the marks on his neck were the result of horrific allergies and he was basically ripping huge chunks of fur (and skin) off scratching himself silly, the poor bugger.

There have been quite a few actual cat killings not too far away from us mind you.

This sounds about right.

There is a lunatic out there killing cats who needs to be caught, especially before he moves on to people.

I hope this **** gets what's coming to him.

According to someone on the Crystal Palace Local FB pages they found their friend's cat mutilated on Thicket Road this morning.

They were very clear in their post that this cats injuries wasn't the actions of an animal.

Very concerning as I live a short walk from CP park and Thicket Road - our cats will now be staying in for a while.

Based on this new evidence, could it possibly be a mass suicide pact?
