Any chance a mod can change the title, last thing we want is people thinking we've signed Mick McCarthy?

Although with our transfer strategy I wouldn't be surprised.

We lack bite and tenacity in midfield, he'll bring that and maybe we can win the ball there instead of giving it away.

He'll give everything he's got I'm sure.

spot on. And will show yet again how right I was about Meyer and Kouyate not being good enough to be the RLC and Cabaye replacements last summer. It is not easy to replace quality players, but I hope Camarasa and McCarthy make a better job of trying to fill the gaps left by their departures.

Higher finish with Max and CK.
CK always performed at this level.
Max is a totally different type of player than RLC
But carry on spouting your bullshit.

Have you ripped down your Zaha posters in your bedroom yet?

If we'd had RLC and Cabaye last season playing the champagne football of May 2018 for an entire season we'd have made it to Europa League; you don't know what you are talking about. Max Meyer is a tidy player but he's a defensive ball playing centre mid who thinks he can play further forward. How's your favourite Kouyate getting on? 」10m of waste - he won't start more than a handful of games this season imho.

Zaha is still a Palace legend, so I won't be pulling them down, ever. He deserves more and I don't begrudge him a move on to a club that has owners who are actually prepared to properly invest in the squad since January 2017. Don't hold your breath waiting for the AWB replacement

Well exactly, so many other factors affecting our points haul than just Meyer and Kouyate!

No. 12th last year.

14th in 16/17.
15th in 15/16.
18th in 04/05.
20th in 97/98.
19th in 94/95.
20th in 92/93.

But apart from those six occasions, you池e right - it was indeed our lowest ever Premier League finish.

Ok James, looks like it痴 your chance today

Quality player if he痴 over those injuries, be great if he gets off to a flyer.

Some competition for Luka wouldn稚 go amiss although he was much better against Norwich after a few spells awol this season

I honestly think he has more class than Milivojevic, which will get some flak I imagine. Ive been quite impressed so far.

Yes highly mooted to start today, certainly gives the centre of the park a workmanlike look.

Would prefer a bit of flair, but perhaps the likes of Meyer, Camarasa and Townsend, will be kept on the bench

He痴 not done a single thing of any value yet.

That痴 not intended as a criticism as he痴 barely had any time but to say at this stage that he has more class than Luka is ridiculous.

When at his best you may be right. In his pomp I think he probably gets up and down the pitch more often/quickly. Still not sure he has looked quite right in his cameos so far though. This may be to do with the nature of those or his overall recovery. Being out that long, it must take a while for you to feel 'normal'.

Always classed him a bit like Albrighton at Leicester. Never really seen as a star of the team but likely does more than most to make a team tick. Always where he's needed and chips in with goals/assists when you most need them. Really puts a serious shift in and hits same levels every week. Managers dream when fully fit/in form. Question is does he still have that. Hope so, and if starting maybe we will see that today
