Very minor from what I've seen. I think CNN's website mentioned Johnson bringing it up to Trump.

Not sure if you can see this: To view the link you have to Register or Login

There have been numerous reports of this nature since the story came to light, but very much not headline news.

Atleast justice would be served rather than politically sneaking out the back door, just because she is ‘important’

There are certainly misuses of it but the murder of Yvonne Fletcher is unique.

Tragic death first and foremost. The humane thing to do would be for her to voluntarily return to the UK but the woman is a wife of a 'spy' and even if she wanted to I bet she won't be allowed to. The best the family may get is case against her in the US

I imagine that he's CIA, not necessarily a spy, but a known US government rep who was operating out of the UK. Hence the media blackout prior to her doing the off's.

I would also guess she was pulled out for operational preservation as well, rather than just decided she'd fly home.

Poor family, I imagine she is probably pretty distraught as well.

Not just any old spy. He’s spying on UK citizens for the UK government.

The parents are entitled at the very least to an account under oath as to how their son died
The only person who can do that unless there are witnesses is Mrs Sacoullas
Appalling cover up

The cover up is over what her husband was up to - Poor Harry Dunn and his family are just collateral damage as far as UK and US government are concerned

Anne Sacoolas was never entitled to diplomatic immunity, probably worth the Dunns lawyers making a criminal complaint about Raab and the FCO illegally helping a suspect evade justice

Here, Trump says 'I spoke with Boris, he asked me if I'd do that [i.e. arrange for Anne Sacoolas to be in the next room for a potential meet], and I did it.'

If that's true, am I alone in thinking that Johnson pulled the rug from under the parents' feet somewhat? It seemed clear that they only wanted to meet her back in the UK.

I don't trust either of those two chancers; they'd say and do anything if they believed it was in their interest.

The parents of Harry Dunn have said they are "disgusted" with Dominic Raab after he defended the government's decision to seek legal costs from them.

The 19-year-old died after a collision in Northamptonshire in August that led to the suspect leaving the UK claiming diplomatic immunity.

His parents have begun legal action against the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO).

Mr Raab said the government needed to "protect taxpayers' money". (BBC, website 21 Nov 2019)

Perhaps protecting our UK citizens welfare should be a higher priority than protecting their tax money ?
The only protection being afforded here is to a foreign potential manslaughter suspect
