Mr Beans is Toast has no chance he is not Corbyn and is to far right of the far left fantasy for CR.
The article you posted shows Labour has a long way to go. The populist appeal is sounding deranged and in doing so the serious message is getting lost.

A passionate plea.

No matter where you are personally in the Labour movement, your own personal beliefs can remain rock solid and set intrinsically in stone.

Completely not politically correct but where I am as a disabled man with three life long conditions and have been for the last decade is just slightly left of the NKVD. That's the result of the Tories so far making three attempts on my life and soon the fourth.

But.

I can shake hands and unite with a Corbynista, a Blairite, centrists and any of the heaps of moderate Middle Britons inbetween.

That's what Labour is and needs to be. Anyone who's not a Paid up Member of the Conservative and unionist party of Great Britain should be welcome.

If you cannot see or indeed accept that you are the problem and your head needs a wobble.

Just 30 years out of 120 Labour have held office for.

It's pathetic it's pitiful it's bordering on criminal woeful neglect that we allow our differences to openly divide us and constantly give our heinous evil enemies all the ammunition they need to not just expose our weaknesses but allow them to be exploited that office is not achieved.

We must always hold dear all the labour membership is, is the HEART of the people. The core of the nation who can see slightly earlier than others what the Tories really are.

It's up to us to be passionately articulate and talk such simple plain sense that it presents our politics in such a beautifully simple way it draws all to them.

This means the constant what ifs and evaluations of how of we got to where we are now must cease, for if they don't you've failed to grasp any of the above.

Starmer is the duly elected leader now. He is the Leader of the opposition. His job and ours is to oppose all that the Tories do that;

A) Harms the People and Nation.

B) Lines already fat Tory Pockets.

Finnaly my Political family know this.

The Conservative and Unionist party of Great Britain is the most successful political party on the planet. You are all aware this is partly facilitated by an insidious far right press that's owned by tax evading billionaires and the manipulation of Social Media and spending of vast amounts of cash.

The evidence is clear and is there for anyone to see that Labour ONLY EVER gets elected for ONE of Three REASONS.

1) The Tories have catastrophically cocked up and been exposed for the putrid filth they are.

2) A massively significant Historical event has occured.

3) Someone very special is elected to Lead the Labour Party.

Starmer could be if we unite behind him and his appointed Cabinet that someone special.

The Tories have just scored TWO catastrophic cock ups.

1) Every Covid-19 death is on them! Every single one they own. They refused to act early prioritising the economy before the public health.

2) That inaction then meant when the Tories did finally act they had to Tank the economy for the next Century.

So all the deaths and all this debt is theirs and theirs alone. They can never ever claim to be fiscally astute ever again.

Naturally the State of the NHS after a decade plus of Tory austerity and what it's wonderful staff are enduring on our behalf must respectfully be used as the tip of the spear.

If Starmer isnt elected of the back of that, what will be the reason? Did he foul up or did the Labour Party fail to knuckle down and do what it had to do?

UNITE."
was quite interesting but then totally lost credibility at the end ... "Every Covid-19 death is on them! Every single one they own." FFS...

Nobody is perfect, but the overall message is to reinforce unity in the party.

That was never going to happen, her shrill nasty approach and delusional worship of Corbyn saw to that, she's totally unappealing to anyone outside of the barking mad far left.
What they've done is to get Angela Rayner in as deputy as the token socialist which parallels John Prescott's position as deputy. It gives position without any real power.

The guy is disabled and was already suffering near death scenarios twice before under this Tory government. I think even you might not be thinking totally rationally in his position, where obviously anger and a long poor health history is colouring his attitude.

Earlier in this thread , (I think it was this one ,) I can't be arsed to trawl it again you announced quite categorically that you would hand your membership back in and not renew if starmer won. As a principled Communist what has changed ? Why have you decided not to now ? You hate centrism, blairites, indeed anything that is not extreme left wing , so given the labour party is now waking up and seeing it has been going down the wrong path to ever be trusted to govern , what Communist principles do you see in it that you feel you can align yourself to ?

I didn’t say that and no I’m not leaving.

Have you lost your marbles completely? The whole world is suffering from this not just Britain.

Maybe they could have acted quicker on some aspects of this but only ever by a few days. Then again maybe they couldn't. Nothing could have ever have stopped deaths, there is no country in the world safe from this.

The biggest threat to you judging by the increasingly shrill tone of your posts is going stir crazy in that Devonian bunker of yours, not the Tories.

Its revealed nothing of the sort. The wearing of PPE was quite limited before this now everyone and their dog wants to wear it, justifiably so.

I can only guess at the increase in the use of it but picking 100x would seem an inadequate estimation. There is no way they could have been prepared for that especially given that countries are now keeping supplies to themselves. Its a matter of changing UK production.

Same for Vents as I've said before there was no country in the world where there was a vast number sitting in a warehouse just in case.

All you are doing is listing your favourite bigotry and tying it to this crisis.

As rumoured, Burgon has gone from the Shadow Cabinet.

Starmer making a very clean break from the Corbyn era.

So you admit the post is not rational yet use it as an attack on the Tories. Which is the point that I was making take the rhetoric to far it loses its point.

He was responding to our concerns about how inclusive the Labour party was going to be with the rhetoric of a potential "purge" of anyone who disagrees with their direction coming from some who supported Starmer. You might not agree with some of what was said in the post,I certainly don't,but the reason it was posted was not what you are now responding to.

In which case I would have left off much of the second half. The first section was a very good summation of what needs to happen with the tribes within Labour. The second ("putrid filth" and the section about every CV death being on the Tories come to mind) is an example of what turns people off party politics completely.

We currently are not short of them and don't look like we are going to be. Even Jerry has had to put in emergency orders, as have every country.

Why not try to look at something that may cause greater problems in the near future due to this virus. The economy and food production look like they might be in trouble already.
