Well done Liverpool

The club and fans have done themselves proud in the way they have handled the memorial of the young Everton supporter who was shot last week, before tonights game. I have never been a massive "fan" of Liverpool fans, but well done tonight. Very emotional. I hope they go on to win well tonight.

Was quite a touching scene. Their biggest rivals and playing their (Evertons) tune for the child and his parents was a very big thing that could have gone so so wrong. Well done Liverpool and their fans.

Would Palace play "Red red robbin" if an 11 year old Charlton fan died or "Glad all over" at the Valley?

One would hope so.

Not so sure "Glad All Over" would be quite appropriate in that situation!

the only local derby you will see that happening in , can you imagine it in the old firm derby or arsenal v spurs.
fair play to the supporters of both teams to see that football is not more important than life or death as they have proved on numerous occasions .

shame the complete wankers who know something seem to think their little stupid gang is well hard and are probably loving all the publicity .

Stu's right. I can't imagine Pompey playing 'When the Saints go marching in' or Ipswich playing 'On the ball City'. There is something very insular about the City of Liverp[ool.

You can almost guarantee that Charlton would sing songs about it. Wouldn't be Glad All Over though, if you know what I mean.

When I first saw them walking on I thought this could end up a bit nasty but the liverpool fans were superb, fair play to them.

Im not quite sure why they were there though? I thought they were all Everton supporters

I think you're all being rather cynical, i know football fans can be an insensitive lot at times but this is an 11 year old boy dieing, something like that really does put football into perspective, i find it hard to believe that even the lowest of the low wouldn't respect this and show a bit of compassion.

Plus Liverpool - Everton is a friendly rivalry with many families devided by the support of both teams. I think the tragedy has united the whole city.

Tell that to the families of the 39 Italians they murdered at Heysel.
