I've been guilty of that this season but the bottom 5 have gone on awful runs now.

I didn't expect West Ham to get worse under Moyes, Bournemouth seemed to have found a little form, Villa have tailed off badly and Watford's initial revival under Pearson hasn't been sustained.

The bad side of that is that more points than usual may be needed to finish 10th for example.

Mental.
You could play them at Walsall as there will be no customers there to watch.

Watford are looking properly sh1t. I think I’d prefer them to drop and just to spice it up further I’d like Villa to pick up a few wins.

The thing with Watford was everyone thought they’d be fine after Pearson came and took them on great run and out of the bottom three. The problem is, they were so far behind to begin with, so the minute they took a breather and their form natural slipped a bit, they’d be back in real trouble. Looks like the confidence has gone as well.

If Bournemouth and Villa can somehow pick up a few points we could be in for a popcorn munching finish.

Villa, Bournemouth Wham and Watford all have tough run ins - wouldn't surprise me if 33/34 points is enough to keep you up

Bournemouth’s game this week against Newcastle crucial to their survival. Win that and West Ham or Watford are really in the frame.

I did like the observation by the commentator at the Bar Codes' game that you could see to Barnard Castle from the top of the stand if your eyesight was good.

Just as well because there doesn't seem to be much point in watching our own remaining games.

Btw, congratulations to Keith Curle. First promotion as a manager last night after Northampton beat Exeter 4-0.

Liked him when he was here with Warnock.

Oooh, I have a proper longstanding hatred of Keith Curle. Can't remember why but I guess it's likely to have been for absolute shithousery while playing against us for Wimbledon, Wolves or Sheffield United (or all three).

Looks like there'll be one of Huddersfield, Hull, Stoke or Boro taking the third relegation spot in the championship now Charlton seem to be sorting themselves out. All of whom have been in the premier league in the last four seasons. Goes to show what relegation can do.
