Player debate #2 Bright or Morrison

Both top strikers with a real passion for the club. Morrison however didn’t play in the top division for us as Brighty did. Both played with great strikers so were involved in high scoring teams. But who was better?

Bright made 286 appearences and scored 113 goals
Morrison made 316 appearences and also scored 113 goals

Bright was part of one of the best Palace teams ever, and gets my vote but who would you pick?

Clinton was a great servant for the club and great to watch, but Brighty was one of the most intelligent players I have ever seen in a Palace shirt a fantastic goal maker and scorer. He has also become a great ambassador for the club and a role model for younger players. Over used word but Brighty is a Palace legend.

No contest, Bright easily and that would equally apply if it was between him and Andrew Johnson. He was class and played a huge role in making Wright the player he became. Really unlucky not to be capped by England when you think that the likes of John Fashanu were picking up caps in the same era.

Bright.

I would put him in my all time eleven, just becasue of how he worked with Wright, plus the 113 goals.

Morrison would be below AJ and possibly Armstrong for me and Freedman.

Wright
Bright
AJ
Armstrong
Freedman
Morrison
Murray
Ayew

of my time watching...

I don't include Zaha because I think of him as a winger that has scored a lot of goals.

I've met both of them, they were both great with my lad. Can't split them as men.

Brighty gets the nod in footballing terms.

Agree. That's a genuine conundrum. (I think the first in this series was strange too: Jedi v Aki would've been better.)

Love Clinton but Brighty smashes this one.
