Damo.....humble pie graciously consumed......you were magnificent and went some way to attone for your woeful error of judgement in the chelsea home game this time last year.....

Injured. Hangeland is a good defender, but bizarrely I felt we missed Damo's long passes

Can he not read the script, or did he pick up the Barcelona script by accident again! His last 2 league performances (both at home I believe) have been excellent. Run of away games now, should suit us better, COYP. |

Hangeland was at fault for City's goal, but overall played well.
Still want Damo back though, if only for the no-nonsense approach. Does anyone know what his injury is?

Hangeland showed a good deal of composure with this "chest downs", impressive game from him

That’s what Palace brings to a person. Gary Issott summed it up well when he claimed that “there is no greater motivation in life than love, and when you play for this club you end up loving it.”

Delaney.
Apologies if there's a thread elsewhere about him.
Whilst the likes of Dann, McArthur, Souare and the like are getting the plaudits this season, and rightly so, Delaney has been superb this season imho. I've had my doubts about him in the past but not anymore. In particular against Chelsea he was great. Thank Christ he retired himself from international duty. |

He's proof that age is just a number when your game doesn't rely on pace.

He is one of the best free transfers we have ever made. He embodies everything that is great about the last four years rise.

Who would have thought when we signed him that he'd turn out so instrumental to our success. A fantastic professional and a huge character!
