Get the feeling this would only have ever been a loan deal again, and a really late in the window one. But think itís highly unlikely with their transfer embargo

Think he will have to.
Can't see him coming back here anytime soon, too expensive to buy and probably not cost effective to loan either. To get him for a season would probably cost 10M plus big wages

Probably a no go given that Lampard wants to give him another chance at Chelsea.

They can change it, doesn't mean much final list is after the window closes and they can still sell players they just can't bring in now.

Perhaps, but they have a LOT of players and no enough spaces to fill them all so will have to farm some out. Of course, Lampard is going to give everyone a viewing - why would he not?! Ultimately, they can't keep everyone though.

Surely at the start of preseason Lampard has to say that he will given everyone a chance before deciding who stays and who goes. Not much to read in to it yet.

The fact Morata has gone has made him less likely to be available I guess. Who else do they have? Giroud, Abraham. Could Hudson-Odoi play as a striker?

Higuain's gone as well so they literally only have Giroud, Abraham and Bat as recognised strikers.

Hard to see Lampard letting him go but you never know.

I would have thought Giroud will be first choice as the focal point and target man, for the likes of Hudson Odoi, William, Pulisic, and the ex-barca player whose name escapes me to play off and around.

Abraham will be his understudy and Batman be the guy on the bench to turn to when you need goals and to change the pattern of play.
