Fan experience likely reflects our profligacy at home last season. An away win will always leave visiting fans feeling happy.

Personally I am proud of our 'old style' Selhurst park......

I am thankful that I do not have to endure watching football in a soulless bowl full of plastics and tourists with many of them spending their time clicking away on their mobile phones and cameras as is the norm at big club grounds.

The difference is that the vast majority of Palace fans at Selhurst Park are supporting their local team or have an affinity to the area where they started watching football.

Having cramped leg-room like I suffered in my seat at Spurs has far greater implications if you are a disabled fan like I am due to circulation problems that this creates and I am not the only disabled Palace fan that had this problem caused by the rows of seating not having sufficient spacing between the rows.

Went to an Emirates cup game years ago (I know!)

But giving the gooners a very little credit, there seats were deep comfy and roomy..

There still bastards though

Have you sat in the main stand or the Arthur wait, both have no leg room and have the plastic seats cutting into your knees.

Canít possibly criticise Crystal Palace though can we

The Emirates is one of the best away grounds for facilities that I have seen Palace play at, shame that it was also like a library as far as atmosphere goes with the noisy Palace fans the only ones singing but that is often the case at away games.
