We could quite easily give ourselves a good game.

I’m not sure it matters, providing the fitness levels are right. Everyone knows their role and how we play, bar Doucoure but I doubt it will much different to what he’s previously played. Can’t for the life of me Malc or Plange playing much of a role for the first few months anyway apart from odd sub appearances.

I think that will be enough. As it stands 10 of the starting 11 against Arsenal are players who were here last season. So in terms of understanding the way PV wants us to play we should be fine. If we had 3 or 4 new first team players I would probably be more concerned.

bringing my daughter to her first game on saturday, she is 10 now, so later than I would have liked to introduce her but she also has autism and medical conditions, so had to pick a game that wouldn't be as busy as such. Are they still being funny about refreshments that you bring into the ground? she will have a drinks bottle with her medication in and then was just going to bring her some snacks to keep her going. Was hoping that they will appreciate that she needs them with her issues, but would really appreciate any advice on whether it will be a problem?
she is very much looking forward to it, albeit very worried about the number of people, new place etc but it will definitely be worth it, especially if she sees wilf as she adores him ![]() Last edited by hedge end eagle; 25-07-2022 at 03:43 PM. |
