Although born in Croydon he has played for both DR Congo and England U20 teams, so he may have a choice for international football.

He will be overlooked by Southgate as Zaha was. He will play for DR Congo.

How much do we reckon he's worth now after 8 games? I was contemplating this question when spending some time in the water closet. I reckon £9-10m is reasonable for ward on the current market, maybe a bit less. So surely he's worth more than that? Again, not that I think we'd sell or anyone would come in for him yet.

I don't think I have articulated that question particularly well but you get my point.

I see him more as a Des Walker type of player. "You'll never beat Des Walker."

Some journalists are completely ignorant to the fact that Aaron signed a new 4 year Palace contract in April 2018 as soon as it was offered to him as Palace were eager to stop him being poached after seeing how easily he has settled in to the step up to Premier League football and taken to it like a duck takes to water.

England have the best RBs in the world. Walker and Trippier are world class. Then we have Trent AA who is incredible, Clyne who is very good, AWB and even more like Fredericks who I think will do well this season. Am sure I’m missing some.

He’s a very good player and we must give him a new contract.

Think we will need to improve that contract if he continues to perform as he has done. |

He doesn't even look like he's breaking sweat when he plays. Outrageous talent.
I wouldn't be surprised to see one of the big sides come in early with a decent bid. His value is only going to keep increasing.

It is so refreshing to see that many of Palace's best academy players dream is simply to play in the first team of Crystal Palace.
No wonder that when they do make that step up they remain loyal to the club that gave them that chance and many that do fly the nest regret it and come home. Loyalty is a big thing in football and Palace have it in droves with their academy players many of whom simply want to play for their local team. COYP |
