Shocked by this one, I guess because I always think of them when he was a young yob who looked like everyteenager. Great records, indeed.

OMG! How sad. Croydon Greyhound 1976, one of my favourite ever gigs. It was a week after seeing Yes at Wembley arena and they changed my musical outlook forever. Live at the Marquee is probably one of the best live recordings ever made. RIP.

Saw them at the Lyceum in 1978 with Radio Stars and Squeeze supporting. To say he was lively on stage would be the understatement of the year.

They were still gigging. I saw them in Canvey a few years ago supporting Dr Feelgood.

Saw them at the Marquee and the Greyhound in '76. Superb energy, cracking songs. The Feelgoods and the Hot rods. A clue that something was changing. Prog antidote. Sad news.

First alternate band I became aware of.. not because I had heard their music but because their name was carved into an ever increasing number of school desks at Langley Park over a short period of time.

RIP

Really sad, saw them early on at the Marquee, probably 1976 (but not the Pistols gig) - fabulous gig, one of the best I ever went to. RIP
