Huge petitions against the current kit but, unusually for BVB, what do the fans matter when there's money to be made? This time I agree with the club. Money is currently more important to the club than anything else.

have to agree, but the black and yellow striped shirts not bad either.

VfB Coach Bernd Hollerbach (ex-St. Pauli / HSV) has pointed out in an interview today that he's keen to lift VfB to top level - 1. Bundesliga.
Well right.

So far was he's said and done looks fine. I have a feeling he's bring out the best in an average team. No season of boredom ahead of us I'm sure.

First home against Leverkusen II, mid-week away at Emden , then St. Pauli at Lohmühle and the next home Holstein Kiel .....
what a start in prospect.

Hollerbach's ambitious, I'll give him that. HSV at Lohmuhle in the league? Well, why the hell not?

The Hollerbach interview in full (german)
Hollerbachs Ziel: "Mittelfristig 1.Liga"

Jetzt sieht man, wer wirklich nach oben will.

LN: Sondern?

Alleine schafft man gar nichts.

No worries fella, no offence taken, I just know Ruediger likes to keep this thread (rightly) to VfB and associated stuff. Feel free to have a slagging match with me on any other threads!

I very much hope so. But I have my doubts concerning the Hasenfenster Club made of mercenaries. Second year in 2. Bundesliga is always tricky so I think we won't face Paderborn in the next couple of years ....

We all know stability brings success in the long run (if not the short run) and from that interview he seems to think he will be here for a while

Mr, my cup is half empty, why should we have a problem this season, we held the mighty BVB to a draw, this weekend Wolfsberg are here, we have brought some good youthful players, our future apart from the new stadium is rosey.....
