Young voters aged 18 to 34 believe that reducing immigration is the least important issue Theresa May should focus on as she prepares to take the UK out of the EU, a new poll has found.

The survey by Opinium found that people in this age group put reducing numbers coming into the UK last out of 22 priorities, with the availability of jobs, protection of human rights and well-funded public services their main concerns.

Are these the same 'young' that could not be bothered to go out and vote in the referendum? Liking something on Facebook might score some social points on Facebook but it don't win referendums. They simply did not care enough.

Maybe you should have done more to teach the younger generations about the importance of being politically active and voting. Instead your generation had allowed apathy to be so rife. Even so, the 18-24 age range had over 60% turnout.

Oh look another expert who is having a wild guess at what will be on the table. Have another stab in the dark. Project Fear is alive.

TTIP was that interfering Obamas pet treat for the EU and UK

Yeah because Trump really needs to give the UK a great deal Biggin

If you believe that. So sad.

With his Only America First policy, who can have any faith that a bilateral trade deal will be beneficial for us?

Immigration leas, availability of jobs and well funded public services top.

Massive oxymoron to say the least.

Too many people = less available jobs.
Too many people = more pressure on services.

N.B.
I favour control of immigration not stopping it.

Nope. Having FOM of movement in the US, India, China, Russia etc doesn't lead to less jobs. And it wouldn't in the EU.

Total and utter myth to think more people means less jobs.

I bet the Maybot is very impressed that Trump is apparently calling her 'My Maggie'.

You don't half write some crap. So it's the 'older' generations fault is it? I am sure you don't believe what you have just written. So they need to be spoon fed to do anything rather than find out for themselves.

Trade deals take a lot longer to negotiate than the 6months the 'experts' are saying there will be one with the US...the easy thing to do will be for Trumpton to just put the TTIP deal in front of little old UK and say there you go. You and the loonies will be desperate to sign anything by then.

Migration nothing to do with pressure on services everything to do with austerity

The EEA agreement already allows member states to restrict EU migration if it can demonstrate an economic problem from it...so why haven't the government triggered it then?

No, probably not the same, if you think about it.

(Young people aren't a completely homogenous group you know).

Or...

Too many people = more people spending, leading to more jobs.
Too many people = more doctors, nurses etc easing the pressure on services.

This is factual nonsense. Public services need to be funded at the level they need to operate and that isn't happening, immigration or no immigration
