Staggering. I'm sure he'll drop the charge !

After his elaborate denial he'll look even more of a tit if he now admits it.

It’s a ridiculous waste of time, blown up into something it never was by the press. I would think the FA would be better spent tackling actual racism and homophobia, or heaven forbid diving, this is just a publicity stunt on their part.

Yep, never has the FA shown itself to be so stupid. Hope Wayne grows a small toothbrush moustache and goes for a hearing dressed in black because his hero is Charlie Chaplin. John Terry their England captain does the most obvious racist scum thing ever from a player and gets away with it.

Not sure it works like that. It's not a criminal court. I think he'll be found guilty on basis it looks like he probably did a nazi salute. It will partly come down to if they believe his version of events and partly down to the fact they will want to appear tough on racism.

Not really sure how this is going to play out. The last time any player in the premier league got done for some kind of political gesture was Anelka. Granted that was in the game and there was no other way to interpret it, but does set a worrying benkmark. They might throw the book at him

I guess I'm inclined to believe Wayne's version of events. You'd have to immensely stupid to do something so, er, stupid. Wouldn't you? Help me out here...

The issue is, we weren’t there. So you kinda have to take things at face value

Do you really think anyone involved in the FA's decision is part of a new generation?

Having spoken to a number of non palace fans they all came to the conclusion he knows exactly what he was doing. Only people defending him seem to be on here

He will get fined, unfortunately. I feel a 6 month ban would be more suitable.
