A different Wilf today. He released the ball constantly like I have never seen before, really looked world class. Commenters thought it was his last game for us, I hope not.

Weird game so not sure how much we can take from it but...

Gauita (7) -Didn't do much wrong for the goals. Find of the season.

AWB (7) -Poor by his standards. At fault for the third goal. Still P.O.T.S. and future £100M player.

Kelly (6) -Got bullied a bit but still a fine squad player and great business for the club.

Ward (7) -Did alright in an unfamiliar role at this level. Worth keeping and the last of the 12/13 boys if Wilf joins Jules in leaving.

PVA (7) -Better going forward than defending, as per usual. Took his goal well.

Luka (7.5) -Was everywhere and nearly scored a screamer. Hope no one comes in for him this summer. There's every chance.

McArthur (7) -Tonnes of industry as always. Palace hero.

Meyer (9) -Final game of the season but his touches and intelligence showed a player able to give us another dimension to how we play. Next season could be where we see the best of Max Meyer. Deserved a goal and nearly made two in the first five minutes.

Andros (8.5) -Another great strike and another great season.

Bats (8) -This is what a real striker brings us. We need him or someone similar.

Wilf (11) -'But this amp goes up to eleven.' If it was a Palace swansong, what a swansong.

Dreher -Special mention. He looked as assured as AWB on his debut. Let's hope we have another academy star on our hands.

He was superb going forward, and better than he has been for several months defensively

An absolute pleasure to watch us when we play how we did today.

The usual suspects like Zaha, Meyer and Michy will get big credit but Ward against two of the nippiest forwards in the league in an unfamiliar position was immense. I think it also highlighted the importance of a ball playing defender, some of his passes into the midfield really initiated the attacks.

Agree his passing out of the back was better than anyone who's played centre back this season, bar Sackho, of course

Considering he's played his last 3 games out of position Joel has been excellent

Kelly's wasn't bad either - 96.4 success rate, best of any starting player.

Mccarthur just from Wilf

Wilf is a joy to behold but that miss before the own goal shouldn't be happening, and I didn't really think he would score it any point. He should have had a couple at least today. If he moves he will be fairly criticised for such misses

Nice finish to the season. Hope it’s not good bye to wilf, AWB and most of them tbh
Pretty much this but just to add every time PVA joined in the attack we looked like scoring god I hope we can get Batshuayi for another season .

Yep. But some people now refuse to see when he does things well.

To single him out amongst all the poor defending in a game with 8 goals is strange. I actually think AWB was worse at the back today. Lovely goal too.

First half he seemed to do well but second half he was constantly ball-watching as players ran in behind him. Aside from a decent opening 10 minutes he had a terrible second half IMO.

Gave it to Ward but it could have easily been Kelly, Meyer or MacArthur. The latter two did well together especially as Luka played deeper than usual. It was a great team performance. Liked Dreher getting a few minutes on the pitch.

Hard to believe prior to this match we'd managed only 14 goals at home in 18 league matches.

A great end to a good season where away results exceeded expectations and Fortress Selhurst became an exaggeration.
