I don't really see a difference between 'milkshaking a fascist or egging a commie' and I think its not unhealthy for politics that this occurs. Obviously its wrong, but its not worthy of the kind of attention it gets and the nonsense people talk about assault etc. Like being burned in effigy, its actually a sign that you're doing something right. Politics should provoke us and engage us emotionally, but better to throw eggs, paint and milkshakes than commit murder and terrorism

Compared to what politics in NI has created in my lifetime, an egg or milkshake isn't all that. I'm sure Airey Neave would have preferred a dry cleaning bill...

Comedy needs to be near the knuckle, and a bit provocative, in my opinion. Its a cathartic outlet. It why terms like gallows humour exist - making something funny, presents it in an appreciable context.

Anyone who listened to the comments on the show wouldn't regard them as anything other than an off hand routine slightly dark joke. Its as stupid as that guy being prosecuted for his 'Nazi dog'.

As a society we're losing our collective grip on reality and our perspective over Brexit, and politics, by trying to consistently find things to complain about. When we're taking issue with comedy and creating an equivalence to non-comedy statements we've effectively arrived at a dead end of society where po faced boring egotist c**ts will determine everything in terms of their myopic agenda nonsense.

Lets not embrace a fundamentalist mentality, rather we should see everything more through the abusurdist lens of comedy. This is the worst thing about Brexit and Remain, is how its turned reasonable, intelligent people into po faced fundamentalists - on both sides.

How does battery acid compare to other types of acid? Does it do more damage, or would it only be used in these situations because of it's easier to access (if it is indeed easier to access)?

Battery acid is bad for the environment. Wouldn't it be easier just to throw batteries at him (picking them up and recycling them after obviously).

The recycling aspect certainly does make batteries an appealing option. You could get so many targets with just the one set of batteries: Farage, Boris, Corbyn, the dickhead who bought the last pain au chocolat just before me at the bakery this afternoon etc.

Really makes you wonder why people bother with acid (or indeed any liquid) given the fact it is single use.

And if you think of how many lives a lot of politicians manage to screw up with their rubbish policies and intransigence just being milkshaked is letting them off very lightly indeed.

The ones from poundland are just as good as Duracells for this purpose and you get way more in a pack. They are half the price of a milkshake too.
