Kicks off 12:30 - Everton v West Ham.

Can see West Ham taking this one and then big pressure on the Everton board.

Looking at Everton’s forthcoming fixtures, they have what looks like a good run coming up (Brighton, Spurs, Soton, Norwich), before a horrendous December fixture list (Leicester, Liverpool, Chelsea, Man U, Arsenal, Burnley).

If they don’t pick up a decent points haul in their next 5 games then they are in serious trouble.

Shows how crazy the world of football is when an essentially unproven, confidence man of a manager in Silva is allowed to spend almost 200 million quid building a team he has no clue how to train much less manage.

It’s extremely short sighted to put all the blame on Silva, Everton and their transfer policy has been a mess since Moyes left. The only reason they used to be good at times was Lukaku carrying them on his back.

Come on, he's done nothing to show he is a top rate manager. He got the players he wanted at great expense and has done nothing with that team. There is no way they should be where they are, hell I bet pardew would have that team higher.

How do you know they’re the players Silva wanted? For a long time it was players Steve Walsh was picking out, although I think he’s been sacked since.

Everton have underachieved lots since Moyes left, with Martinez, Koeman and Allardyce in charge. To put all the blame on Silva when the club as a whole has no real vision or long term transfer plan is silly.

It's the nature of the beast. Poor results, manager is sacked. Look at how many people get on Roy's back when we have a bad patch. The manager will know when he gets the job what control over transfers he will get, if any. If he doesn't like the setup he doesn't have to take the job.
