That interview wouldn’t have taken place unless his agent was pretty sure that someone would pay the money that Palace would want, and Wilf what he wants.

Zaha went months without a goal this season.

That wouldn't impress me if I was at a big club.

I don't think he'll go because I don't think any club will bid enough. Some poxy bid like 20 million might come our way, but we won't accept it.

If he doesn't go this summer, I think he will stay the rest of his career. This time next year he will be 27 going on 28. I would've thought big clubs would be put off by his age by then.

PSG are ready to make a shock £65million offer for Crystal Palace star Wilfried Zaha, who has set his heart on leaving the club this summer.

I would be amazed if he starts with palace next season and if PSG come in for him then good luck to the man he deserves it.

£80m and keep Wan-Bissaka, sounds pretty good. If SP can get anything close to £80m I'd be more than happy. PSG is a great place for Wilf to go as well.

As gutting as it would be £65m-£80m for Wilf would be unbelievable business.

Albeit 20% of that would go to the Wankers.

PSG would be good for him but they do have that weird German coach who might try to get Wilf to gegen press or whatever and Wilf might not like that. Why can't Real Madrid just give us 100 mil for him? With Zizou and that midfield he'd be brilliant

When you add on Wilf's £30m contract a club would have pay out £110m to sign him if Palace have indeed set his valuation at £80m.

The ball is firmly in Palace's court if there is any genuine interest from clubs coveting him and Wilf would not come cheap with very few clubs able to meet this valuation for a player who has 5 years left on his Palace contract with no release clause.

This is what happens when you turn the club backwards by failing to find replacements for RLC and Cabaye. Zaha has been milked as a cash cow by the club’s owners. They conned him into thinking that we were a club with ambition, but in reality our ambition is only to survive relegation for as many years as possible, it is not our ambition to go for Top 10 and then Europe: our transfer policy in the last 3 windows tells us that.

I believe Zaha would stay at Palace if we could show him that we are ambitious as a club, but time is running out if it hasn’t already. If we could have finished Top 10 and then pushed on again to challenge for Europe the following season with ambitious signings rather than squad padding who knows? Instead the mood music coming out of the club is that we want to cash in on AWB. How is that going to show our greatest ever player that we want to progress? There’s only so long we can continue to pull the wool over Wilf’s eyes.

To fail is one thing, to not even try to harness the unusual ability of Zaha to push the club on is poor, and instead we have stagnated at best, and gone backwards more likely. The club are unlikely to get this kind of opportunity again. We probably need new owners in order to match Wilf’s ambitions if we are to have any hope of keeping Wilf long term.

In the meantime, to try to buy us another year, as well as splashing £100m on transfer targets, Zaha should be made club captain. His new found maturity that is evident on and off the pitch should be rewarded with the arm band. He has more passion than the rest of the squad combined. If Milivojevic won’t sign a new deal (one year left) strip him of the captaincy and give it to Wilf. Massive summer coming up. I said that last summer, but things are really coming to a head now after our shambles of a transfer window in summer 2018. It really is make or break. Decisions are going to have to be made and further delay is unlikely to be an option.

It's basically the same situation as last year, I think, where Wilf would be happy to move to a bigger club if he can get CL football but the move is reliant on someone being willing to put up the fee and wages. I think it's still unlikely there's a team that would, but by no means impossible.

I think 80 million is about right for us considering he is our one serious attacking threat and about a quarter of the fee would go to MU. I doubt we'd be able to directly replace him, but we'd need pretty much all the money to rebuild our attack and find a way of creating chances other than him beating players and winning pens.

This is one long stream of drivel. Any amount of ambition isn't going to get us into the champions League, or fighting for the title, which is where he wants to be.

Let's hope that if he goes it is early in the window so we compete for some of the better names.
Why mention those names now? You should have been mentioning them last summer. We needed a ball carrier before this latest round of Zaha speculation.

The bright side of losing Wilf is that at least we won't go down by finally getting caught out by the above scenario. We will have to look to strengthen creativity throughout the team and stop being so wing-dependent and Wilf-dependent.

Oh well, we had a few months, when RLC was here, to see what a Palace team featuring Wilf Zaha and a quality attacking midfielder would look like and it was very enjoyable. Not bad for six years in the Prem. Looks like we will have to finally address meaningfully how we play now. Would have liked to see the club grasp that nettle by choice rather than have Wilf force their hand but it is what it is. Terrible shame to see Wilf go but after we allowed the midfield to turn to sh*t again and basically hung our Premier League status on Wilf's shoulders, no one can blame him for deciding enough is enough.
Absolutely spot on. Good luck Wilf, you deserve to move to a club with ambition.

Hahaha you loon.

Do you think I'm the head of scouting or recruitment or something?! Why "should" I be suggesting players unless I can be arsed to? Moreover, I think its pretty sure the club didn't and quite probably still wouldn't have the funds for any of them unless they sell Wilf.

We all talk about how Wilf needs to be loved, and you want him at the most hateful, horrible club in the world where fans will boo and attack his car after a bad performance? PSG is perfect. He speaks French, wont be playing palace and Tuchel is all about fast attacking football.

He wants to join a champions league team. Wolves and Everton might get there in about 5 years. He is fantastic player who has not performed as well as he could this season for a variety of reasons. Let’s not undersell ourselves. If someone offers 70-80 and they are a champions league team either here or abroad then great. If not then he should stay and prove that he is worth that to a champions league team.
