He signed a contract to serve crystal palace as the manager sees fit and is paid very well to do this. Sure he does not want to sit on the bench in which case he needs to prove to the manager he is the best option if he has to sit on then bench then that should be what he does.

Murray may have wanted to leave but do you think he would have wanted to go if we were going to give him a chance? If so you're crazy.

Did we make him feel wanted? What has Murray said then?

Good for him, back scoring goals and looking like he'll be a regular starter. After what he's been through with his injury it is great to see him back doing what he can do. If he wanted to leave so be it, but if it comes down to regular starts being the deciding factor for him to stay or leave then maybe the Champ is best for him. Its a real pity because I would of loved to see him get a regular run of games for us, he deserved a chance but the circumstances moved on whilst he was injured.

"Glenn came to see me and said 'gaffer, I think I've done well here and I want to be playing - could I go and play somewhere else?' I felt really sorry for him.
"He has done well and he needs to be playing at his age. I only knew about it 24 hours before the deadline and I told him that if I got someone in then he could go out on loan until Christmas but that I wanted that call-back option. I wasn't keen on him going but Reading are a good club and Glenn was not keen to be sitting on the bench. I listened to him and it's only right."

I'm not sentimental about Murray - if we could've brought in a good striker I'd see the reasoning perfectly of letting him out. But he would've got opportunities, particularly after Chamackh being out.

It really is a bit shit.

Maybe, maybe not. Personally I thought he was starting to show signs of looking dangerous. But anyway, does anyone in the world actually think Doyle is in any way better?

Yes simply because he is a decent player that wants to be here and is happy on the bench

Murray I love, but a frustrated Murray annoyed at being on the bench when he has asked for a move is not better for us

Glenn Murray featured in every pre-season game and was Palace's top scorer with 6 goals, so why was he allowed to leave on loan when he had already proved that fitness was not an issue.

poor opposition though and hardly a sign that he can do it in the PL, to be honest I think the PL is a step too far for him and the rest of our strikers which is a tad worrying, we're going to need a lot of clean sheets

As far as I can see, all the Championship games are being streamed tonight for some odd reason

I think it might be some of the betting sites straming them, cause there's no commentary
