Credit where its due.
I had a ticket (confirmed seat number) in my online basket which the system then didn't allow me to actually purchase. Eventually they said the game was sold out! I emailed the box office & customer service to complain and did get a call back. They sorted me out for a ticket, so it's not all bad.

I had a reply from Paul McGowan yesterday saying we base the choice on similar types of games and historic information we have. And for this game we thought this was right allocation to take.He also said we have taken the full allocation for Wolves.

Thanks Keith. Norwich is an interesting one as you can get there after work in time for the match and there is actually a train home after too. Right now it does seem that demand for tickets is higher than in previous years as we saw at Burnley, Man U and Norwich. There’s obviously pent up demand after nearly two seasons restrictions and the Viera bounce.

Blimey a reply from the box office. You should play the lottery.

Rang them earlier today to ask if they would be releasing any returned Watford tickets, and if they were operating a waiting list for them. Whoever answered didn’t understand the questions let alone know the answers!

In fairness, I have always found Paul to be on the ball.

We're aware that the ticketing website is currently down, we're working hard to get this fixed and hopefully should be back up and running shortly ⚠️ #CPFC

Why do they put tickets on sale at 5 30pm when box office is shutting?

I'd guess for two reasons. Mainly to encourage as many people as possible to buy online, but also to avoid getting a huge load of calls all at the same time from people having problems. Obviously they will get a load of calls tomorrow but some people will have resolved their problems themselves through persistent trying and the calls that they do get will be more spread out.

Just tried getting through and the option for a call back has disappeared. Also doesn't tell you what number in the queue you are. Sat listening to a god awful version of GAO for 10 mins before giving up.
