A bit scrappy so far, but neither of these teams look very good. Arsenal have had some good possession without doing much, and Newcastle are packed behind the ball much of the time and look like they might get a chance on the break.

Funny how quickly things can change. Arsenal look like they have the nucleus of an excellent young squad and it’s easy to see them getting better. They will still get well beat by the top three but outside of that they look decent.

They do look quite good, but Newcastle are really poor. They look unfit and a bit slow. They sat in shape quite well for about half an hour. That being said, they look quick on the break and I think Arsenal need a second goal.

So far, two of Newcastle’s back four are suspended for the game against Norwich. Things seem to be coming together nicely for Newcastle to be in even worse trouble.
