In the real world there is no club that will give him more than he already has.
This is the crux of the problem. No one outside the top 6 has the money and he won't be a regular in any of the top 6, so where does he go? Abroad looks like the only option in reality

It's funny reading the comments in the article. No one seems to want him. Pretty much the same comment repeated numerous times: inconsistent, runs down blind alleys, can't finish, bad attitude, etc etc

Not quite sure how this will pan out. Wants champions league but can't see Liverpool or City buying him. Chelsea can't buy anyone, spurs don't have the money. Utd won't make top 4. Arsenal?

If he is going I hope he leaves us a massive present...

An OG in the last minute against Cardiff will do.

My money would be on Dortmund.

Intersting one because it leads you to wonder that he may be in an unprecedented position of accepting a lower wage for the chance of success. Think Wilf would take that personally.

He signed a new contract then instead of palace kicking on we've tried to relegate ourselves for the last 2 seasons .
Wilf has to move this summer. Another season like the last 2 will damage his career.
Harsh assessment but true.

Pointless anyway, he makes us about double and more given almost everyone agrees we are relegation material without him ( &with our recruitment talent). He must be kept, end of.

Yeah, I think there's a fair chance this interview was done with Parish's blessing to allow us to try and get any deal done early and have time to look for our own targets.

I think he gave us this season expecting us to kick on and hoping that others would help ease the burden on him being the sole creator. It hasn't happened.

He is always worth the entrance fee alone and is always an entertainer. Can't argue with this intervirw, he has been loyal enough, as a winger his pace may start to fade soon, so now is the time for him to show us what he is capable of in his prime at the very top.

I feel the fee and wages are going to be huge and will remain the record sale for us for many, many, many seasons to come.

If we had a forward to tuck away some of the created chances this season, he wouldn't have such itchy feet this April.

Seriously questioning now my season ticket renewals ... Under Roy I don't look forward to home games particularly his Tactics when facing the big teams at Home (and Spurs away was a complete disgrace) ... I swear he was happy when losing only 0-1Man City.
Obviously getting Roy for another 12 months.

Good luck Wilf .... Palace will always love you.
Rarely agree with you in-exile, but agree with this post100%. Don''t think it's just match day tactics either, seem to remembe an ex-Fulham player saying training under Roy was the same every day.
As for the Arsenal game tomorrow, the tactics will be exactly the same. Not sure if it's even worth watching. Ceratinly not looking forward to it.

I think this is probably right. If Hazard goes for under £100m (which is the chat) I cannot see how Zaha would go for more than £50m.

I only really see Arsenal and the wankers as serious suitors here. No idea if Dortmund would spend £50m when they appear to be quite content picking up rough gems for a fifth of that.

Arsenal would be a good move location wise but it would mean no trophies.
