I thought that sounded odd.

Legend, always liked him. Would have him here in a heartbeat, especially given his comments over the years.

Perfect for them. He has a solid record of being good, but not good enough when it counts, all the qualities your typical Spurs gaffer needs

I think the biggest problems with Jose at Palace would be whether he falls out with any of our players. Hazard, Pogba, Ndombele, there’s a pattern there of ultra talented, mercurial players who are prone to being pedestrian out of possession. Would Wilf or Eze be the next in line?

But from a tactical standpoint, I completely agree, he’d suit us. Can’t see it happening, but fun to think about.

Jose to Palace would be just like when Big Mal took the hot seat.

I can imagine the Paddy Power advert. 'Special' relegations.

Ryan Mason to be Spurs boss until the end of the season.

Elite club.

No chance he’ll come here. Far too high profile and expensive. Despite failing at his last few jobs he’ll be in high demand

Why would he go there? He's at a club where he has more of a chance of winning the League. He might even win the league this season if the 6 are expelled. But yeah, he could go to a club destined to finish near the bottom of the ESL every season.

Spurs have better players, and more money.

Leicester are 6 points ahead with a game in hand, with a manager who’s considered to have done an excellent job. Spurs just sacked a manager who did a shite job. Would be a much bigger points gap than that if Leicester had as good a team, let alone a better one.

But maybe Rodgers won’t fancy this super league bollocks, who knows. Leicester would certainly be title favourites with the ‘big 6’ gone.
