Behave.

He might well be at the top level.

It’s be an incredible coup for us to get him.

People turning their noses up at someone like JM becoming Palace manager is frankly ridiculous.

He has failed at two of the richest clubs in the Premier League; to think he would turn around our seriously ageing squad with a tiny budget is laughable.

If I smell rotting fish, itís because it stinks of rotting fish.

Itís no wonder noses are being turned up.

Mourinho would be brilliant if he got his head out of his arse. But a leopard doesn't change its spots - especially if it's being paid £15m a year not to.

Can't think of too many examples of players who played under him since his porto days where their game improved with him as manager.

Tactically yeah, fair enough. But as a coach... not for me.

Any club who places any value whatsoever on developing young players into the finished article should steer well clear.

Plus, when it goes wrong which it usually does, he looks everywhere except in a mirror.

Yeah he did terrible at Inter Milan didn’t get the best out of any of those players..Real Madrid awful..those titles Chelsea players were all under achieving.
Don’t be so obsessed with youth. In this league - we don’t get results in our case 11 wins, we are gone.

He is perfect manager for us style passion, raise profile..but we could never afford him.

Of course he won’t come here. But I think it’s wrong to say we couldn’t afford him. He would know coming to us wouldn’t pay £15m a year. He’s a multi multi millionaire so cash isn’t an issue. Say he agrees £7.5m a year. Not an unreasonable thought. We get rid of that useless lump up front and the toy soldier and that pays for one and a half years straight up.

I think he’d be brilliant for us. But yes, not going to happen.

5- 10 years ago I'd have loved it but not now. I think he's lost it, doesn't seem to enjoy football anymore and has just become a whinging pain in the arse who pisses half the squad off whilst playing negative football. Where's the upside?

I think he'd get his mojo back with us. Once stadiums are full and he has the backing of a raucous Selhurst, he'd be in his element. A bit like his initial gory days at Porto, plenty of David v Goliath games for him to get his teeth into.

There's obviously no way he'd come here; or that we could afford him (if may be true that he doesn't need the money, but he would still demand it). However, a completely different type of challenge might actually suit him and bring the best out of him - as Aki Aki Aki says. I'd still love to see him as Palace manager, but it's a pipe dream and will never happen.

Nagelsmann went to Bayern Munich and now Ten Hag has signed a contract extension with Ajax...the search for a replacement is not going too well for Levy so far.

Had a quick peek at a Spurs forum and they talk about Parker, Rangnick, Rogers, Martinez and Potter as candidates.

Well duh. He was the best manager in the world at that time and we were fighting off relegation.

Honestly think you'd have to be full on bonkers to not want Jose Mourinho here, how could you not want to take that risk? It'd be a lot of fun, and our players would be in awe of him. I would absolutely love him here.

I’m quite happy for Potter to stay at Brighton, he’s done **** all so far and long may it continue. Wouldn’t surprise me though, I see him as Marco Silva mk2. The media love him because he talks a good game but will be found out soon enough.

My thoughts too. And as Stevek has said, he would actually probably love a job that is different to what he has been doing for 15+ years. His team ethos is very much based on a siege mentality, and he would have us worshipping him pretty quickly if he got off to a good start.

He won't come here, but if I were Parish then I would definitely try to meet him, become friends and try to sell the job to him. At worse, it would probably be quite a fun meeting.

Also, does anyone else like him? I do. He seems quite a funny guy. It seems very fashionable to call him a prick and whatnot, but I don't get that impression.
