New boy Harry Ottaway has scored twice already. It's early days, but things are looking rosy, being one of only three teams to retain a 100% record start.

The match against Palace went down brilliantly. On account of the pre match pub crawl my memory is somewhat hazy, but the official attendance of 1692 was only 153 short of a club record. Over 300 was also raised for the 12th man appeal - money with bypasses the club directors and goes straight to the manager to bolster the squad.

First fixture which doesn't clash with Palace is Cray @ home next Tuesday, which I'll be at. Then hot on it's heels some BBS interest when we entertain Carshalton.
I know someone at the club and he thought that there were nearer to 2000 there - apparently a few hundred were let in not long before KO due to time and crowding. Shame they didn't get the extra pennies from them if that is the case.

But an excellent start to the season. Was there for the Palace game, missed the two openers. Saw three of four games last year and will be certainly back there this season.

Come on the pink 'n blues!!!

Dulwich 4 Cray 0 tonight.

2nd in the Ryman's Premier on PLD:4 W:3 D:1 L:0 behind Grays Athletic who have a 100% record. Level on points with Kingstonian, Maidstone United & Lewes.

So far so good.

If you haven't seen Erhan Otzumer play yet - he's worth the tenner admission alone. 'He's five foot two, he's pink and blue'. Two inches taller and he could make it the Conference, if not League 2. Think Joniesta with goals - incredibly, two headers so far.

Can't believe he won't be picked up by someone further up the food chain. Get down to Champion Hill while stocks last!

He is indeed a gifted lad. Thought he has better than Carr last year, and the latter got a move to Huddersfield at the tail end of the season.

Yeh definitely a gifted player. I think he was a pro in Turkey and for some reason settled for a lower league team here. I think he could make it in league football myself.

Another good win today, 3-1 against Carshalton. Didn't go to the match, but reports suggest Hamlet was completely on top and deserved more. Early days of course, but all signs suggest they can survive at this level, and who knows, maybe more....

Dulwich joint top with Kingstonian on 4-1-0, just behind them on goal difference. Away to Grays on Monday who were top but lost their 100% record this afternoon.

Yes good win. However Harry Ottway, who I think is new this season, broke his leg in a collision with their keeper.

So second with 13 points. Pretty darned good.

Yeah I know Harry, gutted for him. Really nice person. Just signed this season, he was at Dover last year.

Carshalton and their keeper tweeted their best wishes, the keeper sounded a but upset.

Haven't managed to get down to watch Hamlet league yet this season, though was down for the Palace friendly.

Cracking start with average home gates of 500 so far.

Next Tuesday night game, I will be there, anyone else on a pre match beer crawl?

Margate Sept 24th? I'll be there.

Toying with the idea of the Thamesmead away match Wed Sept 11th. Then there's the FA Cup match for those not going to Manchester.

Yeah, Grays won the Ryman North last year and are also knocking around the top of the Prem at present - so another good result. Hornchurch at home on Saturday.

The loss of Harry Ottaway aside and having seen Dulwich 3 times this season I'd say there is more to come, they are not yet at their fluid best of last season and despite that and having played some of the more fancied sides are more than holding their own.

If they can solve the problem of Ottaway's replacement and I don't think Vines is the answer, well off the pace and less of a backup than French was.

Still #ingavinwetrust as they say

Up the Hamlet!!
