You couldn't make his resigning up. His signing typifies Palace and their non existent transfer plans. Anyone involved in bringing players to the club needs shooting. Including Beaky.

They increase season ticket prices and try to raise revenues by some marginal initiatives on food and beverage at ground then waste all the money on wages of one player who never plays. Waste the ££££ big time and the save on the pennies

Why? He was always signed as a back up in case of injuries. In first half of season we had no such forward options. It is like saying an insurance policy was pointless because nothing went wrong.

An utter waste of space and rumoured to be on £30k a week. Heads should roll on this one.

Donít be so harsh, the signing made sense at the time. He was signed as a back-up for the injured Benteke & Wickham and the, at the time, ineffective Ayew. We were then offered Batshuayi at the end of the transfer window. If we had passed on BS and hadnít been offered MB, then people would complain that we had no cover.

£30k is nearly half the average Premier League football players wage. Fair for a backup.

If we can offload him & Wickham in the summer then that will free up £80k a week to put towards a striker that might actually play afew games..

Not so long ago people were saying heads should roll as we didn't have any depth in the striker department. Now we do, they're still not happy.

Don't disagree with you on this but it does look ridiculous when Roy only plays one striker up top. As ridiculous as having four goalkeepers. If Roy played with two strikers it would be reasonable to have four or five in the squad.

A useful option from the bench so on that basis fairly irrelevant to Roy.

No excuse for Roy not using him or even more so Wickham. Rarely freshens it up or tries anything different .

The fact that people are complaining about his lack of use underlines the attacking quality in the squad apart from Zaha. Utter waste of space for most of three years. Bet Roy was begging for him to be re-signed.

Yeah, Iím sure youíre right. Itís Wickham thatís the problem. if we can offload him with Sako & Pape Souare whoís also out of contract then weíve saved at least £120k a week to pay the likes of Batshuayi or someone like him.

I’d much rather off load Bendonkey than Wickham. £130k a week right there
