Youíve missed the games from the 3 seasons before that when heís been largely shite.

Otherwise - good point well made.

Nope. I've said, based on his performances so far, I think Guaita is the better keeper. Perhaps you should read posts before accusing someone?

With a ton of caveats about who he's played against.

Well I can't say he's a better keeper against teams he hasn't faced.

However, in general, he IS a better keeper than Hennessey, I think we almost all agree!

Judging by the video on the Palace web site VG & WH appear to get on great together, which is always good news when a rivalry for a place.

Oh and VG definitely appears to be a nutter as becomes a goalkeeper!

Anyone who can't see that Guaita is a far better keeper than Wayne needs to get down to spec savers ASAP.

Perhaps we should compare the two using a quote from the late Gordon Banks' 2002 book Banksy, My Autobiography:

'The mark of a good goalkeeper is how few saves he has to make during a game. A spectacular save is the last resort when all else - positioning, anticipation, defence - have failed.'

Hennessey was (maybe surprisingly) playing really well this season until his injury, apart from maybe that one game which happened to be against the Seaweed

Guatia has made mistakes in the vast majority of games he has played in, but usually gets lucky (Leicester, Man City, Cardiff) and was punished against West Ham. One no mistake game against Wolves helped us win there maybe, but he cost us a quarter final League cup appearance with his shambolics Middlesborough

Guaita is ultimately going to be rembered as another Mandanda, just with a way better attitude. He'll be gone in the summer
