He has got rid of the dead wood and hopefully we may have some money to spend this summer. If he does Roy will build something special next season at this club and should be fully backed by our supporters.

No its not. It's pronounced Ray.

So I guess it works for Lewington.

You've not noticed how Williams more dangerous when Meyer is in the pitch? Open your eyes. MN and wilf work very well in tandem. I also think Kouyate should start. MM replacing Schlupp and CK replacing Jimmy Mac. Set up to contain home and away. I think we could be more dynamic than workmanlike. Especially at home.

No it isn't.

But the Copa del Roy does have a ring to it. An omen for this season....?

Surely he's gone to Charlton....but I get your point., Max does work well with Wilf. And I like Kouyate, alot....BUT both Schlupp and Macca are in very good form at the mo (contributing goals and assists), so I don't see them being dropped soon. We are lucky to have a decent set of midfielders and defence that can be rotated, or come in for specific games....yes we've finally got there.

If we had been better at converting our chances earlier in the season we'd be easily top half...but that said, we've only failed to score in two games since the start of December, and yes, Ian Wright is right, someone will get a spanking off us...and it wasn't yesterday

I think Roy is using Meyer sparingly but wisely, he'll really come into his own next season, but this season is a learning season.

In terms of the managers position, I hope Roy and Steve Parish are working together to plan for Roy's eventual retirement and successor

Totally agree and for the first time almost ever, we've actually got strength in depth and real competition, which is excellent.

As for Roy's replacement, my worry is that that person is already here...

Wilf was brought back on loan when Warnock was in charge, and made permanent under Pardew.

He certainly wasn't brought back by Pulis indeed all indications are that Pulis didn't want him. There is little doubt that Parish was the real person behind the move.

Sorry - got confused on Wilf’s timing! I was referring to the loan back which in reality was him coming home but forgot TP had gone before he arrived. And I agree it was an SP driven return.
