Unused sub

Who is the Palace outfielder with the highest tally of unused sub appearences ever?

I am not sure of the answer but who do we reckon?

Mods, if you feel this is one for 'Memory Lane' then feel free to stick it over there 👍

Is there a bonus for being named on the bench in player contracts nowadays?

Nah, he doesn't make the bench very often.

Presumably it would be a keeper. Hennessey must have a lot of them as would Jules.

John salako. When only one or two were allowed he often did the full 90 on the bench. Coppell didnít like subbing unless one of first 11 was dead
Worse than Roy although I love them both dearly and wonít hear a word saidagainst them

What a challenge you have set the statto's on here.

You have to assume it comes from when 7 subs were allowed to be named, so about 10 years ago, so over 400 games to try and find the subs bench for each.. good luck to whoever takes this on.

Programes used to have team line ups from the season fixtures, including subbed on and off on. I guess if anyone has the last day of the season porgramme from last few years this would cut it down.

Freedman, Puncheon? Just guesses!
Freedman was on the bench an awful lot when Dowie played just AJ on his own up front
