Zaha is ambitious. He is not going to want to retire without even getting a shot at Champions League football. He has something to prove after failing at Man Utd.

Aaaarrgggghhhh....make the nasty man stop talking.

Palace's owners have far more to lose than £33m if Palace are relegated which is why they know how vital it is for Palace to keep their best players and if possible improve the areas where the team needs strengthening which is principally in attack.

It is likely that there will be more funds available for transfers as a fresh FFP 3 year cycle will soon be upon us.

I reckon if we were to lose big players i believe Parish would use his head and recruit before hand, take the Townsend & Bolasie situation we brought in Townsend then sold Bolasie and so didn't end up paying sky high transfers/taken advantage off because of it

so i think we will replace the big players whilst they're here example - bring in 2 new wingers end up selling Zaha (Use money to replace what we spent for said 2 wingers and use the remaining on a new RB + CB. Sell AWB replace the money we spent on the RB & CB and use the remaining on a Striker/ other area. buy said striker and then sell on ect. that would be the sensible way to go about it

I hope we hold onto our big names but if we do lose them hope its spent wisely enough, that Championship team that got us promoted was full of soul and energy maybe we need a team like that to get us where we all want to be.

I thought it was Utd that failed Wilf.

It's all about 'parsing, parsing, parsing' and crossing...both which we do very badly...but TBF seems to be beyond the ability (surprisingly) of the average highly paid footballer these days.

We cannot keep being a one man team and trying to get by with it every season. If Wilf gets a bad injury in September and is out for months we would be in huge trouble.

If we sell Wilf for £40-50million then we could strengthen as a team rather than relying on individuals.

Roy should do at least one more year with some preparation towards his successor
the new manager should be made aware that the number of subs was increased to three in 1995
