So while sacking Pardew and bringing in BFS was supposed to be going to give us a bit of stability, guess what? The c*nt f*cked off, which led to FdB and a few sleepless nights until Roy was appointed.

BFS is without shame and remains high on my list of ex-managers who f*cked us over

I tend to agree with you over BFS but don't agree with your assumption we definitely would've stayed up with Pardew, even with Sakho. The signings we made that winter were expensive but also crucial to our survival, and it's very debatable whether we would've made equivalent signings under Pardew.

The way Allardyce just left after being backed heavily that winter was annoying but it doesn't take away from the mess Pardew had made. The squad looked unfit and totally lacking in organisation, yes we were scoring goals but we were conceding so many it was getting silly. In fact I reckon Benteke could've scored 20 that season and we still would've gone down under him.

The lack of goals from his feet in two years apart from a pity penalty is massive, offers such little threat

Because we're such a brilliant club, run by wonderful people, we said OK we'll release you from your contract and you can retire without any worries.

The c*nt then turns up as Everton manager, which given the nature of these things, he must have been negotiating while he was still at Palace.

Utter f*cking shitbag.

Yeah that’s right. Everton finished 7th and spent about £150m in the summer under Koeman yet at the same time they were speaking to Allardyce. In fact they spent weeks after saxking Koeman the following season before appointing him. What the **** are you on about.

They turned to him because they knew he guaranteed steering them away from the bottom three, just like we did and Sunderland did and Blackburn did. Shame West Brom didn’t do the same thing

Nice try to get the thread back on topic , it seems most people want to completely ignore the fact that he hasn't scored a goal from open play with his feet for nearly 2 years .

Well, never thought I would see the day when we would have a 30 million quid striker as a benchwarmer.

The spawny **** has always had top players to help him out and make him look good ( see west brom when faced with a limited squad ), which he then mistakly believes is down to his genius and starts tinkering with stuff on his march to immortality. It then goes tits up in spectacular style because he really doesn’t know what is going on, but refuses to take responsibilty.

Very persuasive Which gets him the jobs but surrounds himself with yes men and hounds out people who see through him and have strong personalities. Gets bored easily and unable to see their own limitations.

A lot of phsycopathic traits and a thoroughly dislikable person.

My point is that if we appointed Roy, or even someone like Dyche that summer, and went on to have a compfortable, solid season from start to end, you’d have been happy that Sam went when he did.

You’ve always talked absolute bollocks about Allardyce. I had hoped you’d have learned by now.

Mate, I’m sure you’re a really decent bloke. I really believe that. I’d happily sit
and have a pint with you. I’d even pay.

But fvck my old grannies boots, you’re a proper halfwit

If Pardew has stayed he wouldn’t have had Sakho and PVA et al would be, cos he couldn’t buy a whore in a brothel. If he’d have stayed we would have gone down. Fact

Get over it

Clough, Venables, Paisley undoubtedly. Not many others immediately spring to mind. Revie? Hoddle? Taylor? Greenwood?

Sure I’m missing lots, just off the top of my head...

Edit.

Totally disagree. Not only do I think he could buy a whore in a brothel but I bet he has done so on many occasions, along with seducing other players wives.

Sorry Dougie I disagree on both counts.
Bobby Robson, Don Revie, Malcolm Allison, Bill Nicholson, Steve Coppell, Brian Clough.
